The US President has made a U-turn and has said he believes that Kyiv can “win all of Ukraine back” with the support of the European Union.
Donald Trump believes Ukraine can win amid the state of Russia’s “economic trouble,” but this could only happen with financial support from Europe.
Trump wrote on social media, “After getting to know and fully understand the Ukraine/Russia Military and Economic situation and, after seeing the Economic trouble it is causing Russia, I think Ukraine, with the support of the European Union, is in a position to fight and WIN all of Ukraine back in its original form.
“With time, patience, and the financial support of Europe and, in particular, NATO, the original Borders from where this War started are very much an option. Why not?”
The Kremlin responded to Trump saying his idea Kyiv can take back all of Ukraine is “deeply mistaken,” and it is “not an aimless war.”
Trump continued, “Putin and Russia are in BIG Economic trouble, and this is the time for Ukraine to act.
“In any event, I wish both Countries well. We will continue to supply weapons to NATO for NATO to do what they want with them. Good luck to all!”
He added, “When the people living in Moscow, and all of the Great Cities, Towns, and Districts all throughout Russia, find out what is really going on with this War, the fact that it’s almost impossible for them to get Gasoline through the long lines that are being formed, and all of the other things that are taking place in their War Economy, where most of their money is being spent on fighting Ukraine, which has Great Spirit, and only getting better, Ukraine would be able to take back their Country in its original form and, who knows, maybe even go further than that!
The US Secretary of State Marco Rubio said that Trump’s patience “is not infinite” and that Russia’s war in Ukraine must end.
Speaking at the UN Security Council in New York Rubio said, “The one that’s proved to be an extraordinary challenge has been the war in Ukraine.
“The president has worked on it tirelessly, he has invested a tremendous amount of his own time and energy… doing everything possible to bring this war to an end.
“A war that cannot end militarily, it will end at the negotiating table.”
“This war has to end, and we have done everything we possibly can to bring it to an end,” he added.
“The president has shown extraordinary patience in terms of not assessing additional sanctions in the hopes of having a breakthrough in this regard.
“We’ve entered a period of, what appears to be, potentially even escalation.”
Rubio said that the US President is “a very patient man” but, his patience is not “infinite”.
