Food delivery service Just Eat says it has signed a deal to deliver food from McDonald’s in England and Wales.
The deal comes hot on the heels of its agreement to start delivering food from Greggs, which was announced earlier this month.
Just Eat also said it expected to report earnings of about £200m for 2019, with revenues of about £1bn. Orders in the UK grew by 8%, the firm said.
Earlier this month, Just Eat’s shareholders accepted a takeover bid from Dutch firm Takeaway.com. However, the deal was thrown into doubt late last week when the Competition and Markets Authority said it was investigating the merger.
