Just hours after Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan told MPs that Saudi journalist Jamal Khashoggi was killed in a premeditated and “savage” manner, it has now been reported that the remains of the dissident journalist have been found.
According to sources, Khashoggi had been “cut up” and his face “disfigured”. Another source suggested that Khashoggi’s remains were discovered in the garden of the Saudi consul general’s home.
The reports have not yet been confirmed.
Khashoggi was a known critic of the Saudi government and the country’s crown prince, Mohammed bin Salman.
