As part the rescue deal for Flybe the Stobart Group has invested £9m into the troubled airline. The Stobart Group purchased a 30% stake in Flybe last year.
On Tuesday evening the airline was saved from collapse after an agreement with the government and the consortium consisting of Stobart, Cyrus Capital and Virgin Atlantic.
The Stobart Group said, “This resulted in a situation in which a further injection of funds is required to ensure continued flying.”
