For those of you who don’t know, Deliveroo employs cyclists and drivers to deliver takeaway food from restaurants that don’t offer home delivery. Restaurants that have signed up to the service include well-known restaurants Pizza Express and Gourmet Burger Kitchen.
Deliveroo, that takes a £2.50 fee for each transaction, has raisd $200m in funding in the last two years. The three-year-old company is reportedly valued at a whopping $600m already.
