Apple vindicated its critics with the launch of the iPhone 5s by selling nine million iPhones within three days of its launch last week.
To continue its winning streak, the tech goliath is expected to launch a 12 to 13-inch iPad next year.
Japanese tech website Macotakara has reported that a new tab called “iPad Maxi” is already in production and testing has been going on for the last six months.
Other reports claim that Apple is working with Taiwan-based manufacturer Quanta Computers to produce the new tablet. The company produced Apple’s video iPods and MacBook Air models.
Apple CEO Tim Cook recently said that 2014 would be a big for Apple, with “exciting new product categories”.
