London Stock Exchange is in for a bumper year with up to 100 companies seeking listings, Deloitte has forecasted.
Last year, 15 companies launched IPOs raising £5,3bn compared to just six in 2012. Deloitte predicts that LSE’s main market is expected to see 20 IPOs this year.
“Looking ahead, we see a strong pipeline emerging for the coming months,” John Hammond, head of Deloitte ECM, told The Telegraph. “Given the number of December year-ends and the time required to complete an IPO, we would expect to start to see these coming through in March or April.”
