Vladimir Putin is doing everything he can “to prevent” Ukraine from producing gas, one of Kyiv’s many tasks is to keep the flow of gas for imports to support the country.
The Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky has said that they will do all that they can to keep producing gas and are ready for the challenges that lie ahead this winter.
President Zelensky said that Ukraine will step up their defences in order for Russia to feel what Ukraine “feels.”
Zelensky said, “Russia will do everything to prevent us from producing our gas. They will do everything. It will be difficult to protect all this.
“The task is to have money for imports at the same time, so that people have gas. And we understand the amount of money. And we believe that we will be ready for this.”
He added, “I believe that Ukraine is making absolutely fair progress. We would be happy not to do this, we would be happy if there was no war, but the Russians do not want this. For now. And therefore, only pressure can stop this war.”
