Facebook founder Mark Zuckerberg is the youngest billionaire on the planet – and he hasn’t even had his 30th birthday party yet.

The 29-year-old saw his fortune double between 1 January and 30 September this year to $24.5bn, according to Bloomberg Markets’ ranking of the world’s 100 richest billionaires.

That whopping gain also made the social media king the biggest gainer on the list.

Zuckerberg has still got some catching up to do if he wants to beat Bill Gates, though.

The 58-year-old Microsoft founder is the richest person in the world with a fortune of $72.9bn, according to Bloomberg’s data.
