London Organising Committee for the Olympic and Paralympic Games (LOCOG) will provide more than 250 tickets to survivors and relatives of the 7/7 bombing victims, the Mayor Watch blog has reported.
It was in 2005 that Ken Livingstone, the then mayor of London promised to give free tickets and current mayor Boris Johnson is fulfilling the promise by paying LOCOG £221,000 to provide the tickets.
LOCOG will give 205 tickets to the Olympic Opening Ceremony on 27 July, 61 tickets to the Olympic Athletics Finals on 3 August and four tickets to the Olympic Athletics Finals on 4 August.
