With property costs as high as £917 a square metre a month, Bond Street has become Europe’s most expensive street.
A report published by property group Colliers International pointed out that Bond Street’s rents beat Paris’ Champs Elysées and Switzerland’s Zurich where rents are at £677 and £531 a square metre a month respectively.
Sean Briggs, Colliers International’s European retail director, told The London Evening Standard: “Even though there is a gloomy economic outlook, the luxury sector continues to buck the trend.”
