Retirement riches
The thought of retirement conjures up images of penny pinching and stealing ketchup from McDonalds for some of us.
But for some athletes, retirement means millions of dollars and fame.
Take basketball legend Michael Jordan for example. He retired over 13 years ago and is estimated to earn more than $110m year. This year’s earnings make him the highest-paid retired athlete of the year.
