Did the iPhone 5s and iPhone 5c disappoint you? Fret not, for the iPhone 6 may well be right around the corner.
Analysts expect that Apple would release two curved phones next year after the tech goliath was granted patents for a convex screen. The technology could be used for iPhones, iPads and on a smartwatch
The handsets are expected to have 4.7-inch and 5.5-inch displays each.
“Apple’s 2013 focus was a less expensive iPhone to go alongside its standard flagship offering, while 2014 development [will] centre around a bigger display,” tech website MacRumors said.
Another mobile website Know Your Mobile said that like the iPhone 5s and iPhone 5c, Apple could release two iPhone 6 models.
“There may be multiple models, just as we saw with the iPhone 5S and iPhone 5C,” the site reports. “We may be looking at a 4.8-inch ‘standard’ model to replace the iPhone 5S and a larger 5-inch to 6-inch model as a phablet competitor,” it said.
