Watch the moment Andrew Marr told David Cameron to “shut up”

TV show hosts often find themselves interrupting guests as time runs out. But telling the UK Prime Minister to shut up? That’s a different story.

Iconic broadcaster Andrew Marr told Cameron to “shut up” in his appearance on the BBC.

During the Andrew Marr Show, Cameron was talking about the schoolgirls kidnapped by the Boko Haram Islamist group in Nigeria.

Marr said to Cameron: “I, I…Prime Minister shut up I’m afraid. I’m really, really sorry, we have run out of time.”

Cameron’s reaction? No tantrums.  “I’ve gone on, sorry,” he said.
