Donald Trump has become the 45th President of the United States.

Over 120m people took to the polls to vote, outsider Trump managed to take the vote by storm after an impressive victory over Hillary Clinton.

After huge campaigns across the country it looked as though Clinton could may well become the first female President.

As the night progressed at 3am UK time Trump took the lead. His presidency was announced shortly after 7:30am.
