The leader of Hezbollah is holding Israel directly responsible for the attacks which saw pagers and walkie talkies blow up.

The Hezbollah leader Hassan Nasrallah accused Israel of carrying out “massacres” as they were intent on killing “5,000 people in two minutes” across blasts which were heard across Lebanon and in the capital, Beirut on Tuesday and Wednesday.

Nasrallah said the attack by Israel which caused thousands of explosions was “unprecedented” and this “could be a declaration of war” as Tel Aviv is accused of “violating red lines” which is a “test for Hezbollah.

Nasrallah told a large crowd in Beirut that the “Israeli enemy has targeted many of the pagers” which is a “severe blow” and Israel “has actually crossed over all the red lines.”

Explosions took place “in hospitals, in pharmacies, hospitals, in markets, in shops, in houses, in cars,” Nasrallah added this even happened “in streets where many civilians were along with women and children.”

He said the explosions was “something different” and the Israeli attack was to “to kill 4,000 people in one moment,” this is “the scale of criminality” he added, “What can we call this kind of criminal action – is it a big operation? Is it genocide? Is it a massacre?”

Nasrallah said in a direct message for Israel that top Hezbollah commanders do not carry the model type of pagers which exploded, he added, “what happened did not impact our command, control or infrastructure.”

The leader of Hezbollah continued, “This could be called a declaration of war.

“We have received a very hard hit, but this is the state of war. Through this experience and its lessons, we will be stronger and more powerful.”

He warned Israel that Hezbollah “will not stop until the war on Gaza ends,” and he really hopes Israeli troops will enter southern Lebanon where the two borders join as this will create an “historic opportunity” for Hezbollah.
