All i-fans, take note – Apple has confirmed the launch date for its new hardware as 10 September.
The bright polka-dot invitation to the media read: “This should brighten everyone’s day.”
Rumours are rife that the tech goliath will unveil a cheaper iPhone, dubbed the iPhone 5C, and an upgraded iPhone 5S at the event scheduled to take place in Apple’s Cupertino headquarters.
Tech analysts suggest that the iPhone 5C will be priced between $200-$400 and come with a plastic casing instead of a glass and aluminium cover. It may come without features like Siri voice control, hence the cheaper price. (Read: What to expect from the new Apple iPhone 5S and iPhone 5C)
The iPhone 5S, on the other hand, is expected to come with a 64-bit A7 processor, making it 31% faster than the iPhone 5.
