Global expenses app, ExpenseOnDemand, has published new data highlighting how UK businesses are more optimistic about 2021 being a positive year for business compared to the rest of Europe. 82% of UK business leaders are feeling positive that the year will see an improvement compared to only 69% of their EU counterparts. The data also illustrated that nearly a third (31%) of EU firms don’t believe the vaccine roll-out will cause an economic ‘bounce back’ compared to only 18% of UK businesses.
The survey also revealed some interesting global trends with India, Australia and New Zealand businesses currently feel the most optimistic about the impact that a successful roll-out of the vaccine will have on their domestic economies. The EU was the least optimistic region at 31% but was followed closely by the Middle East with 1 in 4 (25%) of firms believing the vaccines will have little impact this year.
The ExpenseOnDemand app allows employees to simply and remotely upload and claim business expenses from any mobile device, helping businesses to automate their expenses process in a paperless environment.
