Go grab a bargain!

Black Friday originated in the US and is usually held the day after Thanksgiving, it’s considered the unofficial start of the big Christmas shop. In recent years, the UK has decided to join in with the fun and UK retailers are ready to make huge cuts to stock, ready for what is now Britain’s biggest shopping event of the year!

This year Black Friday is held on 25 November. To name just a few, retailers such as Argos, John Lewis, Debenhams and Curry’s will get involved in the sales. Clothing, tech, gadgets, tablets, smart watches, smart phones… You name it, they will more than likely be in the sales.

It’s always hard to tell what deals will be on offer as retailers like to keep everything swept under the rug until the last minute, this is mainly so other competitors don’t find out their secret plans.

Keep an eye out though because some retailers start their sales early, some even extend their sales throughout the week… Best to get in their quick though if you want to grab a bargain before everyone else does!

Make sure you’re kept in touch with your favourite retailers, whether this is by email or social media so you can get any new info before everyone else. As well as this download any apps as you can usually find their Black Friday deals online as well!

If there’s a particular product you want, do your research so you know exactly what you’re getting and what your saving. If you’re looking to grab a bargain on a television look no further than Curry’s, last year the store offered savings of up to £600 on some of its flat screen televisions.

What if you don’t have time to go out? Don’t worry! There’s always online. Amazon sold more that 7m items last year with huge deals on all sorts of tech.

You have probably come to the end of this post thinking… Why should I care? Well if you’re looking to get some Christmas shopping done, Black Friday is the time to do it without having to pay huge amounts on a nice gift. So, go out and have fun!
