There has been a series of explosions today in Crimea with an ammunition warehouse blown up this morning followed by a Russian airbase being blown up in the annexed peninsula.

Mykhailo Podolyak, an adviser to Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky warned on Tuesday the number of attack and explosions will increase.

He warned that the series of powerful explosions which struck Crimea today are “just the beginning.”

He added, “Remember, the Ministry of Defence of the Russian Federation said that they simply do not know how to smoke, do not know how to properly approach security in these ammunition warehouses?

“I believe that, based on the level of intelligence of the Russian Army.

“And today, they generally recruit untrained and unprofessional people.

“The number of explosions will increase – and it will increase precisely in Crimea.”

Moscow has claimed the latest major explosion in occupied Crimea was the result of sabotage and the military warehouse with ammunition was a result of a fire near the town of Dzhankoi in the north of the peninsula.

Russia’s Defence Ministry said that civilian infrastructure and an electricity supply station was damaged as a result of “sabotage.”
