These banks paid the BIGGEST bonuses in 2015

American banking giant Goldman Sachs paid the biggest bonuses in 2015.

The average bonus a director at the bank recieved is a whopping £194,000, up to £50,000 above leading European banks.  

According to research by Emolument.com, a salary-benchmarking website, “top bonuses usually come with top salaries”. In most cases, banks that give the biggest bonuses are also the ones offering best salaries to their bankers.

Average director bonus: £194,000

Average director bonus: £170,000

 

3. Bank of America Merrill Lynch

Average director bonus: £166,000

 

4. JP Morgan

Average director bonus: £162,000

Average director bonus: £143,000

 

6. Credit Suisse

Average director bonus: £135,000

 

7. Deutsche Bank

Average director bonus: £121,000

 

8. Nomura

Average director bonus: £119,000
