Covid-19: Newspaper prints toilet paper pages in response to stockpiling

NT News from Darwin, Australia has printed their newspaper in toilet paper in response to Australians stockpiling the product.

The newspaper reserved eight pages of the print with perforated toilet paper for their readers.

The Australian government has urged people not to stockpile toilet paper whilst the newspaper posted a video [below] of the toilet paper edition, with the hashtag #toiletpapercrisis.

Last week a woman in Sydney, Australia allegedly pulled a knife on a customer after an argument broke out over toilet paper as shoppers emptied shelves over coronavirus fears.

A supermarket staff member told police that a customer was carrying a knife in an aisle, police later cordoned off the toilet paper shelves.
