The British Ministry of Defence (MoD) has warned on Wednesday that Russia are reorganising and are set to launch a “large scale attack in Ukraine.”

British spies are fearful that Vladimir Putin will respond to his military failures “by employing increasingly violent and coercive measures.”

In a statement the MoD said,“The battlefield across northern Ukraine remains largely static with Russian forces likely conducting a period of reorganisation before resuming large-scale offensive operations.

“Russian forces are attempting to envelop Ukrainian forces in the east of the country as they advance from the direction of Kharkiv in the north and Mariupol in the south.”

The MoD warned, “Russian efforts to subdue the population by manipulating the media, spreading propaganda and installing pro-Kremlin leaders have so far failed.

“Russia will probably respond to these failures by employing increasingly violent and coercive measures in an attempt to suppress the Ukrainian population.”

This comes as Putin and his chiefs have refused to rule out the use of nuclear weapons in Ukraine.

Putin’s spokesman Dmitry Peskov was asked three times if the Kremlin will launch nuclear weapons, he did not answer.

Peskov ranted that “anti-Russia” West are to blame as they did not listen to the Kremlin’s “concerns” for the past 10-years they’ve had over Ukraine.

NATO Secretary General has warned Russian today that any use of chemical weapons will have “far-reaching consequences” and “totally change the nature of the conflict”, the

Jens Stoltenberg added, “It would be a blatant violation of international law.”

Stoltenberg also accused Belarus of being “complicit” in the Russian invasion as they are allowing their military airfields to be used by Russian forces to launch attacks on Ukrainian cities.
