On Wednesday the British Foreign Secretary who is in Israel visiting President Issac Herzog said that it is very clear the Israeli military have made a decision to respond with force over Iran’s attack last Saturday.
Israel’s allies are urging restraint to prevent a full blow war in the Middle East as the situation is a tinderbox.
Lord Cameron said, “It’s clear the Israelis are making a decision to act.
“We hope they do so in a way that does as little to escalate this as possible,” adding this is “smart as well as tough.”

Lord Cameron continued, “It’s right to show solidarity with Israel” and has called on G7 countries to impose sanctions on Iran.
“What we want to see are coordinated sanctions against Iran,” he said then accused Tehran of being “behind so much of the malign activity in this region.”
He added, “I think there’s more that we can do to show a united front.”
In regard to Iran’s support of Hamas and Hezbollah who are based in Lebanon, the Houthis in Yemen, it is important that Tehran should be “given a clear unequivocal message.”
He added, “I hope that will happen at the meeting.”
Cameron said that the situation is “very concerning” when asked over fears of a wider regional war.
Cameron’s trip to Israel coincided with his German counterpart Annalena Baerbock, Herzog said in a statement, “The whole world must work decisively and defiantly against the threat by the Iranian regime, which is seeking to undermine the stability of the whole region.”
“Israel is unequivocal in its commitment to defending its people,” he added.
