The Iranian President Ebrahim Raisi has accused the US on Monday of “encouraging” Israel to “kill and commit cruel acts” against Palestinians in the Gaza Strip.
Almost 10,000 Palestinians have now been killed since 7 October and Iran are demanding that the Israeli “bombings must stop.”
On Monday Raisi said in Tehran at a joint news conference with the visiting Iraqi Prime Minister Mohammed Shia al-Sudani, “The aid from the United States to the Zionist regime (Israel) is encouraging them to kill and commit cruel acts of neglect against the Palestinian people.

“These horrible crimes against humanity are a genocide, which is carried out by the Zionist regime (Israel) with the support of the United States and certain European countries.”
The Health Ministry in Gaza said on Monday that overnight more than 200 civilians were killed amid intense Israeli strikes.
The Ministry said in a statement, “More than 200 martyrs were reported in the overnight massacres.”
On Monday morning Israel started yet another fierce bombardment inside Gaza with “significant” airstrikes.
The Gazan Health Ministry said that more than 9,770 people have been killed amid Israeli strikes and two-thirds are women and children.
