The West main goal is to ‘inflict a strategic defeat’ on Russia and Putin warns we cannot ignore NATO’s ‘nuclear capabilities’

On Sunday Vladimir Putin has said that Russia has no choice but to take into account NATO’s “nuclear capabilities” and the West wants to liquidate Russia.

Last week the Russia tyrant warned of World War Three and said in a speech we all on the verge of a “global conflict” and accused the West of starting “the war” in Ukraine.

Ukrainian intelligence has warned that Putin has placed Russia’s strategic nuclear forces to their “highest level of combat readiness” and that Moscow has already started “large-scale” nuclear exercises.

Russia are preparing “components of the strategic nuclear forces for the launch of sea and land-based ballistic missiles,” who are carrying out “a check of the centralised combat control system of the Russian Air Force ‘Monolith’.”

Putin said on Sunday, “In today’s conditions, when all the leading NATO countries have declared their main goal as inflicting a strategic defeat on us, so that our people suffer as they say, how can we ignore their nuclear capabilities in these conditions?”

Putin said the West wants to liquidate Russia and “They have one goal: to disband the former Soviet Union and its fundamental part – the Russian Federation.”

“And then maybe they will accept us into the so-called family of civilised nations, but only separately, each part separately.”

He added, “If we follow this path, I think that the destinies of many nations of Russia, and first of all the Russian people, can change radically.”

Putin added that the West is an indirect accomplice to the “crimes” which he accuses  Ukraine of committing.

Putin hinted that if Russia loses the war in Ukraine then this will justify the use of nuclear weapons.

In a direct warning to the West the Russian tyrant said, “The more long-range Western systems are being delivered to Ukraine, the farther we will be forced to move the threat from our borders.”

Last week the Kremlin warned “we are on the verge of global conflict” as the lower house of Russia’s parliament voted to suspend the nuclear arms treaty with the US.

The Kremlin’s spokesman Dmitry Medvedev said, “If the US wants Russia’s defeat, we have the right to defend ourselves with any weapons, including nuclear.

“Let the US elites who have lost touch with reality think about what they got.”

Last Tuesday Putin announced that Russia will pull out of the landmark nuclear arms control treaty, called New START.

The United Nations warned that if there is no nuclear arms control the world will become a “dangerous” place.

UN spokesperson Stephane Dujarric said, “A world without nuclear arms control is a far more dangerous, unstable one, with potentially catastrophic consequences.

“Every effort should be taken to avoid this outcome, including an immediate return to dialogue.”
