The Russian Foreign Ministry has said on Wednesday that “there is no doubt” that the US and UK helped to plan the cruise missile attack on the Black Sea Fleet headquarters last week.

Moscow has said that “NATO satellite assets” worked in “close coordination” with Ukrainian forces who fired the British made “Storm Shadow” cruise missiles which blew up Russia’s Black Sea Navy headquarters in Sevastopol, Crimea causing “major damage.”

The “Black Sea Fleet HQ in Sevastopol is supposed to be the most protected building in Crimea” which will be an embarrassment for Kremlin officials.

In the port of Sevastopol explosions were heard and smoke was seen billowing out of an enormous hole at the Russian Navy command post.

Russian Foreign Ministry spokeswoman Maria Zakharova said at a briefing on Wednesday, “There is no doubt that the attack had been planned in advance using Western intelligence means, NATO satellite assets and reconnaissance planes and was implemented upon the advice of American and British security agencies and in close coordination with them.

Moscow has consistently said that the US and NATO allies are actively participating in the war as they are supplying weapons, sharing intelligence to help Ukraine fight effectively against Russia.

The West have been providing 21st century high-tech precision guided weaponry to Ukraine to fight against Russia’s ageing 20th century military equipment.
