Abu Dhabi crowned the best destination for digital nomads this winter, with 10.2 hours of winter sunshine

Abu Dhabi is the best city for digital nomads in the winter, with the city offering the most hours of sunshine, averaging 10.2 and temperatures averaging 22.8°C. However, the capital has one of the lowest internet speeds, averaging at 8 Mbps.

Doha ranks second for digital nomads in the winter, with average temperatures of 23.2°C, and winter sunshine lasting on average for 8.6 hours per day.

Bangkok is the third-best winter destination for digital nomads, with the city offering the lowest monthly living costs for nomads, averaging at £578.66.

New York City is the most expensive city for digital nomads, with monthly living costs averaging at £5,373

The US is home to three of the most expensive destinations for winter nomads, with New York City leading the way. The city has the highest average living costs for nomads (£5,373) and the highest average rental costs (£2,998.83).

Zurich is revealed as the second most expensive city with an average monthly living cost (£5,285) falling short of New York City’s by £88. In third, Boston is shown to have monthly living costs averaging at £5,281.

Cities in the Middle East dominate the ranking of warmest destinations for digital nomads, with Abu Dhabi declared as the warmest, with the most hours of winter sunshine (10.2) across the winter months.

Dubai is the second United Arab Emirates city among the warmest destinations for digital nomads, with winter temperatures averaging 22.8°C.
