The Queen has cancelled her visit to Westminster Abbey to take part in Commonwealth Day as she’s recovering from gastroenteritis.
Buckingham Palace said: “The Queen will regrettably no longer attend the Commonwealth Observance at Westminster Abbey today as she continues to recover following her recent illness.”

The Queen left the King Edward VII’s Hospital on 4 March after having been admitted briefly as part of the assessment of symptoms of gastroenteritis.
