An earthquake struck Surrey overnight, the tremor hit Newdigate in Surrey 10 miles from Gatwick Airport at 3.42am.
The British Geological Survey (BGS) has said this is the fourth earthquake to hit the area in the last two weeks.
People woke up to the tremor and took to Twittter, @butt_michaela wrote on Twitter, “Anyone else get woken up by the whole house shaking in Leigh at 03.42am ? #leigh #surrey #reigate #earthquake”
