An Iranian Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRCG) has warned Israel that “another shockwave” will hit Israel unless they stop the “atrocities” which is happening inside Gaza which has left almost 3,000 people but mainly children killed.

The semi-official Fars news agency quoted Ali Fadavi, the second-in-command of Iran’s IRCG sternly warning, “If the crimes continue in Gaza, the Muslim people of other countries may join the conflict against the Zionists and another shock may be on the way.”

The Iranian commander has accused Israel of not fully having recovered from a “huge defeat” by Hamas in the brutal and deadly attack on 7 October in southern Israel which killed at least 1,400 people.

Fadavi said that Israel is a “cancerous tumor” and warned, “The resistance forces’ shocks against (Israel) will continue until this cancerous tumor disappears from the world map.”

Iran uses the term “resistance axis” in reference to regional groups such as the Lebanese militia group Hezbollah, the Houthi rebel group in Yemen and those based in Syria and Iraq.

The IRCG deputy commander said that “Muslims are watching for an opportunity” to carry out attacks such as what happened on 7 October in Israel.

He added that Israel are deliberately targeting Palestinian civilians in Gaza because Israel failed to “harm the resistance front.”

Iran’s Supreme Leader Ali Khamenei said on Tuesday morning that “no one can stop resistance forces” unless Israel stops bombing Gaza.

After this announcement US officials put 2,000 troops on standby to be “ready to deploy” to the Middle East should they be needed inside Israel.

Last week the Houthi terrorist network based in Yemen have threatened they will launch military action if the US intervenes directly with Gaza.

Rebel leader Abdel-Malek al-Houthi said that his group will respond in kind by firing drones and missiles should the US cross the “red lines,” the US has sent troops and warships to the eastern Mediterranean.

A senior Iraqi politician has also waded in and threatened the US that their interests will be targeted if Washington “openly” supports Israel.

The powerful Iraqi politician, Hadi al Amiri, who is a key figure in the cross-party alliance backing Iraq’s government, warned that all American targets will be considered “legitimate,” if the US gets involved.

Al Amiri leads the Badr Organisation, a Shi’ite political group which is strongly supported by Iran.

The Badr organisation make up a large proportion of Iraq’s Popular Mobilisation Forces, a state paramilitary organisation, this contains an enormous amount of Iran-backed factions.

Al Amiri warned, “If they intervene, we would intervene… if the Americans intervened openly in this conflict… we will consider all American targets legitimate… and we will not hesitate to target it.”
