The Estonian ambassador’s residence in Kyiv was “hit by a Russian drone” on Thursday, said Margus Tsahkna the Estonian Foreign Affairs Minister on Friday.
Tsahnka said ambassador Annely Kolk is “lucky” to be unharmed, adding that “no one is safe in Ukraine.”
Tsahkna wrote on X, “Early yesterday, the building where the Estonian ambassador Annely Kolk lives in Kyiv was hit by a Russian drone.
“She was lucky not to be harmed.

“No one is safe in Ukraine until Russia stops its aggression. Ukraine needs more air defense to protect its residents. We must not get used to this.”
Kyiv’s Mayor Vitali Klitschko said the drone attack caused a fire on the 33rd floor of a residential apartment block and shortly after the fire that ensued was bought under control.

Estonian Prime Minister Kristen Michal said, “Yesterday, Russia’s drone attack hit Estonia’s Ambassador’s house in Kyiv.
“Fortunately, no one was harmed.
“My message is clear: Ukraine needs more air defense and removed weapon restrictions to protect its people against the aggressor.
