Brrrrritain is hit with snow sub-zero temperatures with more on its way

Flights have been cancelled as snow covered parts of the UK last night, the Met Office has warned the mercury is to drop even further.

Flights were cancelled at City airport, Belfast, Glasgow and Edinburgh with temperatures as low as -5c, temperatures are set to drop to as much as -10c in parts of Scotland.

Wednesday morning, London commuters faced temperatures of 2c and signal failures caused delays across the Tube network.
