The Tories not only won this year’s election but also got the highest amount of donations in the first quarter of 2015.
The party received £15.4m in the first quarter of 2015. Labour received £9.3m, the second highest amount, while the Lib Dems and the SNP got £3m and £1.1m respectively. UKIP got the least of the lost with £986,327 donated to the party.
