Update: Shops were re-opened after the incident was stood down by Met Police.
In yet another security alert in the capital, Westfield Stratford City had to be evacuated this afternoon.
Hundreds of shoppers were evacuated after a suspect package was found.

In a statement, Metropolitan Police said: “We are currently dealing with a suspicious package at Westfield Stratford shopping centre.
“Police were called at 12.10 to reports and officers remain on the scene. The shopping centre was fully evacuated at 13.45.”
Just yesterday, an unexploded bomb was found at the Olympic Park.
Last week, there was a terror alert at London Bridge station after a man told train staff he had a bomb.
On 8 September, thousands of passengers were evacuated from Luton Airport after hair straighteners sparked a security alert.
