Russia is hit with ‘big loses’ as more than 4,000 troops killed in ‘two weeks’ of fierce fighting

There has been fierce fighting between Ukrainian forces and Russian troops of the operational-strategic group of troops Khortytsia.

In two weeks Russian has lost more than 4,000 troops and hundreds of military equipment, the Command of the Ground Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine Volodymyr Fityo said quite simply the “losses are big.”

Fityo said, on Tuesday evening, “In general, in two weeks on the line of responsibility of Khortytsya group, the enemy suffered losses in human forces of 4,214 servicemen and more than 500 units of military equipment.

“The losses are big.”

The Armed Forces of Ukraine have also taken heavy casualties but they have not openly confirmed this.

The AFU are conducting “meat assaults,” and Russian forces are more actively using equipment which slows down Ukrainian advances.
