Vladimir Putin has said that he will defeat the West “on the battlefield” in Ukraine and warns “let them try.” The Russian leader has suggested that everything is heading towards the West joining the Ukrainians on the battlefield to fight Russia.

During a televised meeting with MPs Putin said, “Today we hear that they want to defeat us on the battlefield.

“Well, what can I say – let them try.”

Putin added, “The collective West, led by the US, had been extremely aggressive toward Russia for decades.”

Putin stated that Moscow, “has not started anything seriously in Ukraine.”

He ominously added, “We haven’t really started anything yet.

“We have heard many times that the West wants to fight us to the last Ukrainian.

“This is a tragedy for the Ukrainian people, but it seems that everything is heading towards this.

“The West is degenerating into totalitarianism. It has failed in its new attempt to contain Russia.

“We are now in the start of a transition to a multi-polar world.”

This comes as NATO could be considering to form a “United Nations Army” to send forces to the Ukraine to help get the grain out to feed the world.

The United Nations (UN) army could be sent to Ukraine to stop Vladimir Putin’s forces from stealing the grain which is a “realistic” option, Former army officer and chemical weapons expert Hamish de Breton-Gordon said.
