An Islamic State terrorist who plotted to plotted to bomb Downing Street and kill Prime Minister Theresa May has been jailed for life.
Naa’imur Zakariyah Rahman had pledged allegiance to Isis and planned to bomb the gates of 10 Downing Street, kill guards and then attack May with a knife or gun.
“Rahman is a very dangerous individual and it is difficult to predict when, if ever, he will become deradicalised and no longer a danger to society,” Justice Haddon-Cave said.
