Ahead of the Paris Olympics French intelligence officers made โ€œseveral arrestsโ€ of would-be suicide ISIS bombers in two separate cases.

The French interior minister Gerald Darmanin did not disclose the details of the terroristsโ€™ plots and โ€œat this very momentโ€ the terrorists have been handed to the justice services, GB News reported.

A source investigating the foiled terrorist plot of the Olympic games in Paris said that they are connected to an Afghanistan off-shoot of ISIS.

French officials have warned the threat of a terrorist attack is โ€œextremely high.โ€

Parisian chief of Police Laurent Nunez told reporters, “Islamist terrorism remains our main concern.

There is no clear-cut threat yet against the Games and our country, but I’d like to remind you that at the end of May, two individuals were arrested in Saint-Etienne and were plotting a project aimed directly at the Olympic Games.

The terrorist threat remains just as important as the protest threat posed by radical environmental groups, the ultra-left and the pro-Palestinian movement.
