Moscow warns they will strike ‘any UK military facility’ if Kyiv uses British missiles inside Russia

7th May 24 10:45 am

Moscow has issued a grave threat that they will target “any UK military facility” if Ukraine fires British made long-range missiles inside Russia.

Last week the British Foreign Secretary told Ukraine their forces can use UK supplied weapons to hit targets inside the Russian Federation.

Last week Lord David Cameron told Reuters, “Just as Russia is striking inside Ukraine, you can quite understand why Ukraine feels the need to make sure it’s defending itself.”

The British ambassador Nigel Casey was summoned to the Russian Foreign Ministry in Moscow and was warned that if any UK missiles strike Russia, then Moscow will target “any UK military facility and equipment on Ukrainian territory and beyond.

The statement added, “The ambassador was urged to reflect on the inevitable catastrophic consequences of such hostile steps by London and to immediately refute in the strongest and most unequivocal manner the bellicose provocative statements by the head of the Foreign Office.”

The Russian Foreign Ministry said that Cameron’s statement “had de facto recognised his country as a part of the conflict,” adding that this is a “serious escalation” by the UK.

Last week the French President Emmanuel Macron said he will send the French Army to Ukraine if Russia breaks through the front lines and this would “legitimately” happen.

French troops are currently “preparing for war” and are ready for deployment to Ukraine and are training for a “high intensity scenario.”

Om Monday Vladimir Putin ordered the Ministry of Defence to conduct testing of nuclear weapons in response to “Western aggression.”

The Russian Ministry of Defence said the nuclear weapons test are “in response to provocative statements and threats by individual Western officials against the Russian Federation.”

The Kremlin has said that this is dangerous and is “escalating tensions” between Moscow and NATO which is “unprecedented and requires special measures.”
