Speaker of the Air Force of the Armed Forces of Ukraine Yuriy Ihnat said on Thursday that F-16 fighter jets are not in Ukraine, it is just a “great chance of hype.”

Ihnat said that the US F-16 multi-role fighter jets are not yet in Ukraine, despite previously published pieces in the media over their “alleged” presence here.

Ihnat said, “The American publication Newsweek published material about ‘nothing’ with incredible assumptions about the presence of F-16s in Ukraine and even their probable involvement in the destruction of six Russian aircraft.

He added, “this is a great chance for hype for our Telegram channels and various media that do not care about their own reputation: ‘Western-provided F-16 fighter jets could already be in Ukraine,‘ Newsweek said, citing sources in the United States.

Ihnat continued, “Seriously? Why then did I go on live broadcasts of Ukrainian and foreign media 23 times yesterday to talk about the racist ship and refute the senseless Russian statements about the destruction of the Faf-16, as well as about the inappropriateness of their stay in Ukraine at this stage?”

The Speaker of the Air Force of the Armed Forces of Ukraine then published a link to previously published material by Newsweek.

Ihnat stated, “The material is made up of nothing. For those who don’t speak English, use Google Translate.”

What he actually did say was, Ukrainian Air Force are set to receive the fourth generation F-16 multi-role fighter jets and will hit Russia with “game changing weapons.”

The fighter jets and the new weaponry will help Ukraine “gain air superiority” which will use the “guided aviation bombs.”

RBC Ukraine interviewed UAF spokesperson Yuriy Ihnat, he said, “The plans are grandiose. The aircraft is multi-functional, so it will be able to perform many tasks in support of ground forces.”

Ukrainian support staff are set ready to receive the fighter jets and the are fully prepared to start work.

On pro-Kremlin social media channels, there is much speculation that Ukraine has already received the F-16s which are thought to have been used to blow up Russian targets.
