Family run self-storage company, Vanguard Storage, has announced the opening of a brand-new branch; its sixth store in London.
Strategically situated at Staples Corner, the branch will serve customers in Brent Cross and surrounding areas, such as Wembley, Neasden and Golder Green.
Vanguard Self Storage Staples Corner is located on the North Circular Road/A406 and can be accessed easily from all surrounding towns and areas. As with Vanguard Storage’s other locations, the Staples Corner branch will offer storage solutions for domestic and commercial customers, as well as students.
Mac McCullagh, Chairman at Vanguard Storage, said, “We are very proud to be opening a flagship store at Staples Corner. We hope that, in time, the building will become a landmark of the North Circular Road. The new branch will accommodate 60,000 sq. ft. of self-storage and another 50,000 document storage boxes for our Filebank business.
“We have also created a new permanent home for the magnificent Hawker Hunter aircraft that we have owned since 1989 and has been occasionally displayed on our tower overlooking the A40. This Hawker Hunter, F1. WT555, is the first into the Royal Air Force and was presented to HRH Prince Philip, Duke of Edinburgh, in 1953. The jet has been extensively restored and now hangs in an atrium overlooking the North Circular Road. Customers and aviation enthusiasts are welcome to pop in to take a closer look!”

The new Staples Corner facility will offer a variety of storage unit sizes, ranging from 10 sq. ft lockers, ideal for storing several personal items, to 1,000 sq. ft units, suitable for storing larger items of furniture. The store is secured by keypad access control, individual alarmed units and 24-hour monitored CCTV and alarms. Units are available on a flexible contract with a minimum term of just one week.
