Japan’s Prime Minister, Shinzo Abe held talks with the International Olympic Committee (IOC) President, Thomas Bach and have agree to postpone the games until 2021.
Abe said, “I proposed to postpone for about a year and [IOC] President Thomas Bach responded with 100% agreement.”
This is third time in the 124-years Olympics history the games have been cancelled since WWI and WWII.
