Overnight Ukraine once again suffered a brutal attack with a total of 415 missiles and drones killing at least two and injuring at least 16 civilians.

President Volodymyr Zelensky accused Moscow of “pure terrorism” following another night of heavy bombings.

At the Ukraine recovery conference President Zelensky said, “Ukrainians now face attacks by hundreds of these drones every single night and this is pure terrorism.

“This is exactly what Putin wants, for our people to suffer and flee Ukraine,” he added.

On Wednesday Ukraine was hit with more than 728 ballistic missiles and drones fired by Russia, Zelensky said that Russia’s increased strikes on the country are “a clear escalation of terror.”

Zelensky has addressed world leaders at the recovery conference, “Ukrainians now face attacks by hundreds of these drones every single night and this is pure terrorism,” he said, reflecting on the record-breaking aerial strike on Ukraine yesterday which saw over 700 drones and missiles launched by Russia.

“This is exactly what Putin wants, for our people to suffer and flee Ukraine,” he added.

He said Ukraine needs further air defence systems and missiles and is urging their allies to increase their investments.

When Russia increases its attacks, we cannot have a shortage of funding for drone production,” he said.

Ukraine has warned that Vladimir Putin has ramped up the production of drones over the past three years, so much so, that Russian forces could launch 1,000 a night on the country.

A senior Ukrainian defence source told The Mirror, “Intelligence suggests Russia is increasing its drone production and this is a huge concern.

“We need defensive systems and greater supplies of offensive missiles to push back Russian troops in depth, behind their lines and targeting their logistics.

“At this rate, Russia is increasing its overnight attacks trying to leverage any settlement and could fire 1,000 drones in one night if this continues.
