The Metropolitan Police have shot dead a man in Streatham, south London on Sunday afternoon after several people were stabbed.
Police were called at 2.30pm on Sunday to an incident outside Iceland supermarket.

The Metropolitan Police said, “A man has been shot by armed officers in Streatham. At this stage it is believed a number of people have been stabbed.
“The circumstances are being assessed; the incident has been declared as terrorist-related.”
Police have confirmed that a number of people have been stabbed, the attacker was shot dead by armed police.

The police tweeted, “Please avoid the area while the emergency services deal with the incident in Streatham.”
A London Ambulance Service spokesman said, ‘We have a number of resources attending an incident in #Streatham High Road, more information to follow.’
