The Metropolitan Police have arrested over 200 people who were linked to a demonstration at Lambeth Bridge on Thursday, which even blocked an ambulance.

On Thursday afternoon the bridges was closed to traffic and other protestors decided to glue themselves to the ground outside Parliament.

Extinction Rebellion protestors said they “jumped the barriers and ran past armed police to glue (themselves) on to the floor outside the House of Lords.”

Police who seem rather incapable in keeping protestors from breaking the law have now imposed new measures, meaning gatherings can only take place off main roads at Parliament Square between 8am and 7pm.
