Moneysupermarket.com boss Mark Lewis has is to step down as chief executive “and pursue his career in a new direction”, the company says.
No date for this has been agreed, and the board has initiated a formal search process for his replacement which includes internal and external candidates.
Mr Lewis, who will continue in his post until a successor is found, has been at the helm for three years.
