The Maldives government could offer vaccines for unvaccinated tourists in an attempt tp boost tourism which has been hit by the pandemic.

The Maldives are planning to allow holidaymakers to receive the three “Vs, Visit, Vaccinate, Vaccation,” once all local residents across the island chains have had their jab.

The Maldivian Tourism Minister, Abdulla Mausoom said in an interview, “The main idea of tourism being open is to provide a reasonably safe tourism with minimum inconvenience.

“So once the country gets vaccinated, then we will move on to ‘3V’ tourism.”
