A major water outage has hit at least nine postcodes across parts of East London and Thames Water has said that they will “aim” to get the water back on within “12hours.”
Thames Water said that a specialist team are working to get the water back on “as quickly as possible” as some areas have either no water or low-pressure issues.
Thames Water said, “We’ll always aim to have your water back on within 12 hours.”

NBC News reporter Alexander Smith wrote on Twitter, “Not wanting to add more competition to this unending news cycle but there is a rather large water outage in east London.
“Thoughts and prayers with Thames Water’s social media person.”
Thames Water apologised and said in a statement that they are “really sorry” and they are doing “all they can to get the issue resolved.”
Adding, “We know this has happened at a difficult time.
