Betfair spokesperson Sam Rosbottom said, “Despite Rishi Sunak undertaking his first cabinet reshuffle since becoming Prime Minister, which has most notably seen Greg Hands replace Nadhim Zahawi as Tory Party chairman, Labour remain odds-on at 8/11 to win a majority at the next General Election. The Conservatives are outsiders at 17/2 to win a majority, while no overall majority is 2/1.

“With former PM Liz Truss penning an essay about her brief time in and out of No.10, as well as an ongoing bullying inquiry into one of his cabinet ministers, there are some questions surrounding Sunak’s leadership.

“It remains to be seen if he will lead the Tory party at the next General Election and he is 21/20 to leave No.10 in 2024, with Kemi Badenoch the current 9/2 favourite to replace him, while a return for Boris Johnson as party leader isn’t completely off the cards, with the Uxbridge MP second-favourite at 5/1 to make a comeback as leader.”
